So you wanna join the Miami Craft Mafia, eh? Here's the low down:

While we certainly don't bite (well...not too hard) we do have a few guidelines and criteria that need to be met in order to be applicable for membership. These guidelines are general guidelines that are followed by Craft Mafias all around the nation.

1. Whether you do your art/crafts full-time or part-time, you must be a professional and treat your art as a business at all times and maintain an excellent reputation.

2. You must have a functional website and preferably, an online store along with your own domain name. The exception to this is if you have a store on Etsy. If you don't have a website, you can still apply for membership, but you must make an effort to create a website soon after. There are some talented girls in our group who are more than happy to give advice and guidelines on how to create your own website if your application is approved.

3. Once you are approved, you need to join the main Craft Mafia web ring & install a link on your website along with a link to the Miami Craft Mafia website.

Please note that filling out an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Miami Craft Mafia. For logistical reasons, we have a cap on the number of members that we can accept.

What other talents or skills do you bring to the Craft Mafia (e.g., graphic design, web design, marketing, photography, play the bongos)?

Are you able to commit to participating in the Miami Craft Mafia for a period of at least 6 months? This includes the time commitment of meetings and online discussions in addition to monetary commitments of joint advertising.
